Caonabo (died 1496) was a Taíno cacique (chief) in Hispaniola at the time Christopher Columbus arrived on the island. Caonabo was a brave man as he approached the battlefield with ferocity. Caonabo married the princess Anacaona, who was the sister of another cacique named Bohechio
Anacaona (1474?–1504), or golden flower, was a taíno cacica, or female cacique (leader), religious expert, poet and composer born in Xaragua. He succeeded his brother Bohechío as cacica after his death. It is one of our ancestors that we cannot forget.
Jean-Jacques Dessalines - He was one of the heads of state of the Haitian revolution and the first leader of an independent Haiti since the constitution of 1805. He is the father of the nation, the person who shed his blood to give us a sovereign nation. We have every reason to honor him.
Haiti, a small island nation known for its rich culture and vibrant history, has long been plagued by a tumultuous past. From the moment European colonizers set foot on the island in 1492, Haiti has been relentlessly burdened by the weight
of imperialism. The indigenous Taynos, who once thrived on the island, were almost entirely wiped out, and the country has not known a moment of true peace since.
But amidst the chaos and turmoil, a glimmer of hope has emerged. Despite its troubled history, Haiti is quickly becoming known as a land of boundless opportunity. Our vision is to tap into that potential and create opportunities for the
people of Haiti, who have been left behind by the current system. We want to empower individuals and communities across all 10 departments to take charge of their own lives and build a brighter future for their country.
To achieve this, we plan to establish a revolutionary micro-lending banking system that will provide funding to those who need it most. This system will be accessible across the entire island, making it possible for people in different
regions to take control of their lives and contribute to the economic development of the country. We envision a future where the people of Haiti are empowered to build a strong and sustainable economy, and where the country as a whole
can thrive.
However, it is important to note that the banking project is not our only project. We also have several other projects in development to provide concrete solutions to various issues in Haiti.
We believe that these complementary projects will contribute to the overall improvement of our country. Join us in our effort for a prosperous and united Haiti.
Empowering Communities: Building a Sustainable Economic Future for Haiti. Our mission is to build a sustainable economic future for Haiti through collective collaboration. We aim to fund projects across all ten departments to improve the value and quality of life and financial well-being of all Haitians, both in the country and in the diaspora. To get involved:
As a nation, we have the ability to shape our own future, and at Ayisyen Otantik, we believe that it is time to take action towards building a better Haiti. We understand that discussing the problems our country is facing is important, however,
it is now time to shift our focus towards finding solutions. We have developed an innovative project that is ready for implementation, and it is through the collective efforts of passionate, driven individuals such as yourself that we can
bring this project to fruition.
We understand that true success can only be achieved through working together. We are inviting you to join our community and share your unique skills, expertise, and stories.
Together, we can make a real impact on our communities and build a Haiti that we can all be proud of. This is a call to action, it is time to come together and make history.
At Ayisyen Otantik, we believe that greatness is a team effort, and that success is a collective endeavor. We understand that true progress can only be made by joining forces and working together towards a common goal. There's no room for
solo acts. Together, we can create something truly remarkable, and build our country on solid ground. Let's set aside the "I" and embrace the "WE", let's make history together - YES WE CAN!
join Ayisyen Otantik today and let's work together to bring our collective vision to reality.
We must come together to address the Haitian crisis and move forward as a nation. Bois Caiman serves as a blueprint for our efforts. In the same spirit, we've created a virtual space to develop plans, implement strategies and provide solutions. We must also stand united against imperialists to preserve our sacred heritage.
In the 21st century, Haiti is facing the risk of a potential genocide. To prevent this tragedy, we are calling for solidarity and support from people everywhere, especially Haitians in the diaspora. Together, we can help lift Haiti, a symbol of freedom and human rights, out of this crisis. We stand with the people and call for solidarity in efforts to secure a better future for our nation.
Transparency is key for any movement to succeed. We will not begin any financial or fundraising activities until all necessary commissions are in place and fully functional. Our past experiences have taught us the importance of addressing potential pitfalls to achieve our mission successfully. All transactions will be shared with our members to ensure transparency and accountability in our movement.
Our social platform Legacy 509, modeled after the historical event of Bois Caiman, is designed to be a members-only platform to ensure discipline and caution in our efforts. Our ancestors achieved success through these values despite the limitations imposed on them as enslaved people with limited mobility and access to technology and transportation.
